Back in the days before everything was computerized, merchants had to dial a phone and call for authorizations for charges of more than $50. If you had a gold card, it was $100. Now the color of the card means nothing. It's just a marketing ploy. You can pretty much get the same interest rates, limits, rewards, and other account terms on any color card. How do I go from platinum to light brown?

Not to mention, the last time I touched up the roots, I couldn't get them past a brassy orange and heavy breakage. I just want to give it time to rest and get to a state where I'm comfortable going to a salon for highlights. I'm thinking about using a product like natural instincts to get there. What do you think? What is the best way to do this and end up with good results?

Q. The dishes are not safe in the dishwasher and so I always hand-wash the china and place it back in the protective sleeves. I noticed last week that some of the plates are tarnishing around the rim, which is platinum. I tried washing them again but no luck! Any help is greatly appreciated!

A. The platinum is so thin on china - you might be seeing where it is worn away and not tarnished. If your china is precious to you take a piece to a reputable jewelry store and ask the jewelers advice. Let an expert help you. Any thing you buy in the store to clean platinum is going to be too abrasive for the thin coat. If someone tell you to try vinegar or lemon juice - remember those are weak acids and will further deteriorate the finish. Do not use tooth paste or baking soda - those are abrasive.

Q. For becoming a Platinum member I have a decision for getting a free Mario hat or Doc Luis's Punch Out. The Mario hat is self explanatory of what it is and what it does. Q. It's just the price of platinum is outrageous. I won't be having them put together permanently, just will wear the wedding ring to work and then wear them together other times. Do you think anyone will be able to tell?

Is there a safe way to go platinum blonde at home?
Q. My hair is currently strawberry blonde, and I've always wanted to try platinum blonde. I feel like now would be the opportune time, since I tend to dye my hair darker colors. The problem is that I absolutely cannot afford to get it done at the salon. Is there any way to go platinum blonde at home that is safe, inexpensive, and won't damage my hair?

What is the significance of a golden Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum Version?
Q. I just caught this Pokemon in Platinum Version, a female Starly, level 4, that looked golden and sparkled when it first came out (it was wild), I cought it, and when I looked at it's summary, there was a red star by it that didn't appear with any of my other Pokemon. Is this Pokemon just for collectors or does it get battle bonuses or something? What is the significance? Please?

A. Well it a shiny pokemon, they are really rare to find. Once you find one you should catch it not kill it, Their is a 1/ 8192 chance of getting a shiny pokemon. Their is A shiny of every Pokemon. You are very lucky to find one, some people have not found a shiny pokemon (I have caught a shiny pokemon). Hope this helped Mip
