What is that metal ring with the smaller colorful plastic rings around it and you spin it?
Q. I have this metal ring, about a foot in diameter, probably half an inch thick with 5 smaller, plastic rings with metal on the inside that are around the outer ring. To work the toy, you slap the plastic rings to make them spin and then continuously spin the large metal ring to keep the smaller one's rotating. My friend gave it to me so I have no idea what it's called.

A. I have no idea either XD Sorry I was bored. Maybe it's called Rainbow Top, I have no idea! I remember it though. Used to have one... Or maybe just ask your friend what it was called instead of hassling us to do it for you!

Any ideas on how a dog should carry the rings for a simple beach wedding?
Q. My fiance and I are planning to have a simple beach wedding. We love dogs and want our dog to be the ring bearer. I'm just looking for ways she can carry the rings without using a pillow. I really want to put the rings in a ball or something. Has anyone heard or seen how a ball/stick/rope can be used for this purpose? Any other creative ideas? Thanks for your input!

A. I saw this once at a wedding and it was adorable! What they did was they found a really cute t-shirt/tank top (wedding colors, of course) and then they had the rings in a really tiny color coordinated bag that they stuck on the top side of t-shirt - it looked like it belonged and she just quickly sewed it on. The she wrapped the rings in plastic and stuck them in there. She said it took her 5 seconds and they were secure, because obviously the pup couldn't get to them and they weren't bothering her. Then her groom had a begging strip in his pocket if it was needed, but it wasn't -- the pup saw them and went bouncing down the beach really quickly. It was too cute! She made the tiny bag from a gift bag she saw - just cut and glued it.

Q. Hello there, How much does it cost to have piston rings replaced on a Ford Focus? Would it be cheaper to buy the rings myself (if this is possible) and just pay for labour or is it best just to let the garage to do their work?

A. Why would you just want to replace the piston rings? By the time the piston rings are worn out the bearings, valves and camshaft are also ready to be replaced or rebuilt. If you have a problem and someone told you that you need to replace the rings I'd suggest you take it some where else and get a second opinion. Before you have any major work done you should get several estimates for the job.
